What’s in a Word?

What’s in a word?
Of letters and squiddles,
and speeches and noise
of the ever-loving politicians
and of garbage boys?

What’s in a word?
Of charisma and power,
seductresses and sighs,
repelling one but attracting all:
awakening a lust for approval?

What’s in a word,
to tell a tale of mystery and adventure,
of heartbreak and friendship:
The experiences one can hear
but can never feel.

What’s in a word
to say
“Chapter One”
and
“The End”?
